I was invited by a special community „Vogelbuurt“ in Schiedam (NL) to create a sculpture for their neighborhood. Inspired by the behavior and sculptural nests of the social weaverbirds in Africa, I created a living sculpture where the European sparrow can nest in. The artwork is located in the corner of the Vinkenlaan and Leeuweriksingel in Schiedam.
